The 13th annual Adventist Human-Subject Research Conference (AHSRA 2026) will convene at Southern Adventist University from June 17 to 20, 2026, bringing together researchers, scholars, church administrators, and practitioners from around the world. Organizers are pleased to invite submissions of research proposals for presentation at this global, peer-reviewed event.

AHSRA continues to serve as a premier platform for both Adventist and non-Adventist researchers to share emerging findings, exchange perspectives, and strengthen collaborative efforts aimed at supporting the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The conference provides a unique space to explore how rigorous human-subject research can inform ministry, refine practice, and foster healthier, more engaged communities.

The 2026 theme emphasizes evidence-based approaches that enhance spiritual, physical, and mental well-being in the context of contemporary ministry. Participants will examine how quantitative and qualitative research can inform effective outreach, promote flourishing across diverse populations, and strengthen discipleship in an increasingly secular environment.

Presentations may feature completed studies or work in progress, provided they draw on data collected from human participants and contribute meaningfully to the understanding and advancement of ministry, education, health, or community engagement.
